As the name suggests, these wines are up there in some of the most delicious drops you will ever have, no joke. Run don't walk, only a few of these are available.
2020 Aller Trop Loin Glou Glou Rouge
Chill this down and things will get hot!
Crafted from 77% Bendigo Mourvedre, 15% Yarra Valley Sauvignon Blanc and 8% Bendigo Shiraz.
Aromatics of blue summer fruits with flavours of blueberries, blackberries, forest fruits, cherries and earthiness. Best served chilled, this is basically a bowl full of summer berries in a glass of wine!
2020 Laurent Saillard Lucky You
Grown on clay and flint stones, 'Lucky You' is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Laurent's 45 year old vines. Directly pressed and straight into old wooden vats for fermentation and 5 months of ageing, entirely untouched until bottled. With zero sulphur in the wine, this is as straight-forward and fresh as Sauvignon Blanc gets. A more appropriate name for this wine cannot be.
2021 Commune of Buttons Pretty Fun Pet Nat
The first fruit to be harvested each year is the base for Pretty Fun and marks the beginning of vintage. In 2021 it was selected from two sites, a parcel of Syrah and Chardonnay
The Pretty Fun this year is textural with a good acid line thanks to the early harvest. It has a bright pink hue and the bead is fine. The undisgorged wine is crisp with a leesy minerality just like pet nat should be! This is dangerously easy to drink and perfect for the backyard or a day in the park where the sun is shining!
